Daystate Alpha Wolf Safari PCP Air Rifle

The Daystate Alpha Wolf Safari is Daystate’s flagship electronic PCP air rifle housed in a textured Safari wood stock with a bronze-anodised monocoque frame. Daystate designed this bullpup for serious hunters and extreme-range target shooters. Its Advanced Velocity Technology (AVT) system delivers electronic power control with remarkable shot-to-shot consistency. Moreover, the Safari Edition retains the Alpha Wolf’s computerised operating system, touchscreen display, and digitally-controlled Huma-Air regulator. Consequently, the 480cc carbon fibre buddy bottle provides ample air capacity for extended sessions. This rifle suits experienced shooters and enthusiasts seeking the pinnacle of electronic PCP performance. Additionally, the Daystate Alpha Wolf Safari PCP air rifle price reflects its premium positioning. Furthermore, the Daystate Alpha Wolf Safari PCP air rifle review scores remain consistently high. Besides, the Daystate Alpha Wolf Safari PCP air rifle for sale availability varies across European retailers.

Available in 4.5mm (.177) and 5.5mm (.22) calibres for standard power versions, the Safari Edition offers remarkable versatility. The .177 version cycles 13 pellets per magazine, while .22 holds 11 shots. Muzzle energy varies by market and configuration. European legal-limit versions deliver under 7.5 Joules for Germany or up to 20 Joules for France, with high-power versions available for licensed shooters. Overall length measures 722mm with a 430mm barrel, and weight starts around 3.35kg. The carbon fibre shrouded barrel comes threaded with 1/2 inch UNF for moderator attachment. Therefore, shooters in Sweden, Finland, and Estonia should verify local energy limits before ordering.

The Alpha Wolf’s standout feature is its AVT touchscreen interface and onboard chronograph. You can adjust power output, monitor regulator pressure, and check muzzle velocity directly on the screen. The electronic trigger offers adjustable pull weight, stage length, and blade position. Daystate includes factory-set power profiles programmed for different calibres. The rifle also features a reversible side lever for left or right-handed operation. A Picatinny rail system spans the modular stock with an integrated bubble level for scope alignment. Consequently, the Daystate Alpha Wolf Performance remains a benchmark in the electronic PCP segment.

Owners report several consistent issues worth knowing. Many rifles deliver a low first shot after periods of inactivity, often 50 fps slower than subsequent shots; this affects hunting scenarios most. Moreover, the internal chronograph can read 20-40 fps different from external chronographs and requires frequent cleaning. Regulator creep appears on some examples, with owners sending rifles back to Daystate for replacement. Valve lock can occur if regulator pressure is set too high, causing the rifle to refuse to fire until pressure is released. Therefore, the Daystate Alpha Wolf problems discussions on European forums remain active.

Pellet choice significantly impacts the Alpha Wolf’s accuracy. Owners report excellent results with JSB Exact in .177 and Rangemaster Sovereign pellets. For .22 calibre, JSB Exact Jumbo and heavy pellets in the 18-25 grain range perform well. The A.R.T. barrel system allows quick calibre changes to suit different ammunition types. Accuracy reaches 10mm groups at 35 metres with the right pellet and tuning. Consequently, test multiple pellet types to find what your individual barrel prefers.

The Daystate Alpha Wolf Safari represents a serious investment in airgun technology. It offers unmatched adjustability, electronic precision, and a premium shooting experience. Purchase from a reputable European retailer with warranty support and knowledge of local regulations. Consider adding the official Performance Pack, which includes the GEN4 Adjustable Butt Pad, Cheek Riser Assembly, Aim Grip Bipod, Rear Bag Rider, and 0dB Short Silencer. A quality scope and pellet sampler pack will complete your setup. Therefore, check your country’s energy limits before ordering, as regulations vary across EU member states including Sweden, Finland, and Estonia.
